These cast iron Police Posts allowed officers on patrol to keep in touch with their home station before personal radios. The public could also use the telephone in emergencies.

When a call was made from the station the light would flash and the bell would ring to attract the officers attention.

The post is fully restored with original Bakelite telephone, drop down writing ledge and locking compartments.

There are two liveries, light blue City of London (pictured) or dark blue Metropolitan Police.

An example of this rare piece can be found in Piccadilly Circus.

K8 kiosk

This example is finished in the bright yellow that was introduced by BT in the early eighties.

It was intended to give the newly formed British Telecom a separate identity to the Post Office.

We can also finish in the standard Red 539.

The kiosk comes fully restored from bare metal upwards using original pieces and patterns.

KX 100 kiosk

The KX100 was designed by BT and introduced in 1985.

tI is more spacious and vandal resistant than previous models.
IRobust, but light enough to be moved by hand,.it provides good access for wheelchairs, visibility and ventilation.

This model has proved popular with camping and caravan sites.
