This layout was used in kiosks from 1936 to the mid fifties and consists of;

High gloss black laminated and ebonised two piece wallboard.

Original polished stainless steel notice frames and concealed brass & copper fixing brackets as follows; 2 x No.29 notice frames (long), 1 x No.30 notice frame (short).

1 x No.31 Emergency notice frame (small), all complete with Dial Code /Instruction Notice, Emergency Instruction notice and two coloured period notices (re-prints).

1 x polished stainless steel mirror frame and bevelled mirror.

1 pair of high gloss black laminated and ebonised parcel/directory shelves complete with full stainless steel trim and shelf liners.

Restored original three slot A & B Coin Collection Box,with cast coin denomination plate (Penny, Sixpence and Shilling), fitted with working bellset, lock and keys.

Fully restored and working Series 200 black Bakelite telephone with original braid handset cord.
The A & B Box can be converted to take many types of coinage but it is not necessary to insert coins in order to make a call.

Updated Jubilee Interior

This interior was used from the mid- fifties to the mid- sixties and uses the same equipment as the earlier version with the exception of the top wallboard which has a different Notice Frame layout, replacing the small frame and mirror with one longer frame. The Emergency notice is placed offset bottom right.

This layout was used in kiosks from the mid 1960s to the 1980s and consists of:

1 x Grey or Black enamelled steel Swinging Directory Holder

1 x Restored Grey or Black Series 700 Pay-On-Answer armoured Payphone with integral coin collection box.

Renters boards were for businesses to hire and were found in places like restaurants, hotels and pubs from the mid- thirties onwards. You will find these compact layouts suitable if you are short of space.

This layout was used from the mid thirties. It consists of:

One piece small wallboard.

It features two original no.30 and one no.31 notice frames.

Dial Codes/Instruction" and Emergency notices Period colour Information Notice.

Polished stainless steel notice frames fixed with original concealed brass and copper brackets.

Original A&B collection box with a cast and polished coin denomination plate with Penny, Sixpence and a Shilling lettering.

It is fitted with a working Bellset, lock and keys.

Fixed to a black enamel shelf is a fully working, restored original Series 200 Bakelite telephone.
The telephone has been converted so it is ready for immediate use.
